UCLA Planets Magazine

UCLA PlanetsUCLA Planets is an annual magazine highlighting planetary research undertaken by iPLEX scientists at UCLA.  Distribution of the 2013-2014 edition began on April 24th and includes articles about the recent discovery of ice on Mercury, weather on Saturn’s moon Titan, and the exploration of the asteroid Vesta by the Dawn spacecraft.  The magazine also includes an update on the newly constructed UCLA Meteorite Museum and a Q&A with Ashwin Vasavada, the deputy project scientist for the Mars Science Laboratory mission.  Hard copies of the newsletter are available free of charge in the iPLEX office (Slichter 3839). An electronic version of the iPLEX newsletter is available for download from this site as a PDF document, which can be viewed in all major pdf viewers including iBooks on Apple devices. The e-version of the newsletter includes links to videos and websites for more information.
