ESS Professor awarded NASA’s Exceptional Scientific Achievement medal

Professor Dave Paige of UCLA’s Department of Earth and Space Sciences has been awarded a NASA Exceptional Scientific Achievement Medal.  This award is NASA’s top scientific honor and is given to individuals “for exceptional scientific contributions (specific, concrete scientific achievements) toward achievement of the NASA mission.”   Dave is honored for his “Breakthrough discoveries in the thermal stability of volatiles on the Moon and Mercury”.
