Instructional Demos

Welcome to iPLEX’s library of planetary science instructional demonstrations! iPLEX maintains this page as an educational resource for UCLA undergraduate students in physical science, astronomy, or planetary science courses. If you are a student directed to this page by your instructor, please click the “For Students” link next to the relevant demonstration.

This page is also designed as a resource for UCLA teaching assistants and professors who may wish to share these demos with their classes. Educator instructions for each demo are available by clicking the “For TAs” link under each demo description. Please Note: the instructor pages are password protected. Please e-mail Kim or Ivy at iplex@ess.ucla.edu with your name, position, and course affiliation to get the password.
